Red Star Society

From time to time, various aid and relief agencies, including the Red Star Society, hold seminars and workshops to provide basic preparedness and emergency training for the general public. These are designed to be a public service and allow people the opportunity to serve as trained (and, in some cases, certified) emergency responders. The American Red Cross and your local YMCA branches offer classes on CPR and first aid techniques regularly throughout the year; for information on those, you can search online or call local offices.
